Çavuşin Cave Hotel | Atax Cave House

Atax Cave Hotel was a wonderful stay! We were here for 5 days. Ali was very kind and welcoming. The breakfast was filling and delicious. The rooms were clean and well decorated. Ali made our whole group feel comfortable and happy. He had great recommendations for food and restaurants. The hotel is close to many scenic locations. Would definitely love to come back again :)

First of all, we would like to thank the hotel owner and manager, Mr. Mehmet Ali, for his attention and care. The location is fantastic, being right in the heart of Cappadocia in the Çavuşin region. We felt like guests, not just customers, at the hotel. Every problem we had was addressed personally. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for everything.

We were strolling through the village when we met the hotel owner. He was very kind to us, invited us for coffee on his terrace, and told us many stories about the place.

An exceptional location for exploring Cappadocia from the small village of Çavuşin, just 2 kilometers from Göreme. The owner is very welcoming and always ready to help. If needed, he can even book tourist services for you, such as hot air balloon rides, without exorbitant commissions, or many other types of tours and activities. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a traditional style, and the terrace offers a lovely view of the hot air balloons passing overhead in the morning. The Turkish breakfast prepared by the family is a delicious all-you-can-eat buffet with everything you need for a good hike. The hotel is located in the heart of the ancient cave ruins of the village of Çavuşin, which is the starting point for several magnificent hikes, such as the Rose Valley and, above all, the splendid Monks' Valley. I can only recommend this hotel for the quality of its welcome and its very convenient location for visiting the rest of Cappadocia.
